Our drivers are independent contractors who provide their own vehicles. However, we hold them to
employee-level standards, requiring full background checks, fingerprinting, TB testing, DMV pull
notices, drug and alcohol testing, vehicle inspections at accredited garages, online first aid certification, and completion of our 9-module driver training program.
Pawar management exercises direct oversight. Before each route begins, a supervisor meets with the
driver and issues a Route Sheet. Our route coordinator maintains ongoing contact with drivers through a routing app that enables real-time tracking and proactively contacts districts and parents in the event of any issue.
